The concept of existential authenticity in heritage interpretation : the case of selected Slovenian historic house museums

Abstrakt

Autorky se v článku vracejí k tématu autenticity, přičemž rozšiřují svůj úhel pohledu o otázky jejího významu pro teorii kulturního dědictví a jejích dopadů na činnosti v rámci památkové péče. Tento směr výzkumu je důležitý, protože nám pomáhá lépe pochopit tento složitý a mnohovrstevný pojem, který je v oblasti památkové péče často považován za samozřejmost. Autenticita obecně znamená pravost či ryzí povahu nějakého objektu či jednotlivce, zdůrazňující jeho vnitřní integritu, hodnověrnost a nezávislost. Tento existenciální pohled sahá až do starověké řecké filozofie, kde byly lidské ctnosti, jako je odvaha a umírněnost, oceňovány jako pravé či autentické. Západní humanitní vědy definují autenticitu jako sebevyjádření, které může pozitivně nebo negativně ovlivnit pocit sounáležitosti a celkové osobní pohody jednotlivce. Západní společnost však byla také kritizována za to, že klade příliš velký důraz na individualistickou "kulturu autenticity". Článek se zabývá dějinami autenticity kulturního dědictví, přičemž její teoretické základy nachází v kontinentální Evropě u badatelů jako Georg Dehio, Alois Riegl a Max Dvořák, kteří přispěli k diskusi tím, že se zabývali otázkami volby mezi konzervací a obnovou a zformulovali základní definice autenticity. Chápání autenticity památek se od té doby postupně vyvíjelo a posunulo se od původního zaměření na konzervaci ke kulturně inkluzivnějšímu přístupu, jak je patrné i z mezinárodně platných norem, například z Dokumentu o autenticitě, přijatého na konferenci ICOMOS v japonské Naře, či z Prováděcí směrnice pro implementaci Úmluvy světového dědictví UNESCO. Tato cesta je zajímavá a vybízí nás k přehodnocení našeho pohledu na kulturní dědictví. Autorky zdůrazňují důležitost chápání autenticity z pohledu Heideggerovy fenomenologie a poukazují na potřebu respektovat existenciální lidské potřeby jako bydlení, budování a myšlení. Prosazují integrativní přístup, který zohledňuje odborné znalosti a spoluúčast komunity na hodnocení a interpretaci kulturního dědictví a jeho naplňování novými významy. Tento důraz na začlenění komunity není jen teoretickým konceptem, ale praktickou nutností pro efektivní interpretaci kulturního dědictví a smysluplné užívání památek. Aby prověřily platnost svých teorií, uvádějí autorky výsledky případové studie o vybraných muzeích v historicky významných domech ve Slovinsku. Zkoumaný vzorek muzeí odráží jejich rozmanitost z hlediska vlastnictví, správy, interdisciplinarity, typů sbírek a jejich dosahu na veřejnost. Analýza se zaměřuje na interdisciplinaritu odborných znalostí, míru začlenění komunity do plánování a hodnocení programů a interpretaci přidaných hodnot památek v širším kontextu. Dosažené výsledky tak naznačují míru autenticity, kterou může veřejnost z poselství muzea získat. Závěrem článek ukazuje, že autenticita památek je úzce spojena s existenciálním zkoumáním kulturní identity a snahou o komplexní fyzickou a duševní pohodu člověka.
