https://journals.phil.muni.cz/sacra <p class="text"> </p> <p class="text"><strong>Recenzovaný studentský časopis Sacra</strong> publikuje odborné práce z oblasti religionistiky a slouží jako platforma zejména studentům a začínajícím badatelům, na níž mohou publikovat výstupy svých výzkumných projektů, závěrečných prací, ale také sdílet kontakty a praktické informace o oboru. Studentské texty v Sacra stejně jako u jiných odborných časopisů prochází hodnocením redakce, odbornými posudky a korekturami. Poskytujeme tak studentům cenné zkušenosti s publikačním procesem, který je bude očekávat v zahraničních periodikách. Časopis je vydávaný od roku 2003 v nákladu dvou čísel ročně ve spolupráci s Ústavem religionistiky Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy university.</p> <p class="text">Hlavním cílem časopisu je poskytnout prostor pro publikování studií, rozhledů a odborných esejů, glos a komentářů, polemik, rozhovorů, recenzí i zpráv studentům magisterského, doktorského, ale i bakalářského studia z oblasti akademického studia náboženství. The author methodologically applies Zygmunt Bauman's concept of the so-called "conceptual Jew" to the statements of Slovak politicians about George Soros. In the study, the author analyses the statements of politicians from the parties SMER – SSD, ĽSNS, Republika, Slovenské Hnutie Obrody, and of former presidential candidate Štefan Harabin. The author does not neglect the aspect of humor and caricature. The author then puts the statements of Slovak politicians about George Soros into the broader historical context of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Given the rising visibility of feminist witchcraft on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, the paper delves into the historical evolution of feminist witchcraft from the second wave feminism to the present fourth wave, which is marked by its online mode of resistance. Through social media, contemporary feminist witches draw upon and reframe historical feminist struggles, adapting witchcraft's symbols of resistance and empowerment to suit a global, intersectional feminist discourse. By analyzing digital platforms, the paper illustrates how these contemporary witches navigate, transform, and commodify witchcraft, creating both spaces of community and personal branding. The study ultimately positions digital feminist witchcraft as a complex and evolving force within the broader feminist movement, using the online world to foster solidarity while contending with commercialization and visibility. Girard's theory illuminates how mimetic processes influence cultural norms and institutions, particularly in the formation of religious practices and societal structures. At the core of Girard's framework lies the notion of the scapegoat mechanism, whereby communal tensions are alleviated through the scapegoating of a sacrificial victim, temporarily restoring social harmony. This article not only examines Girard's viewpoint but also critically engages with poststructuralist and substantive approaches to religion in religious studies. It will also contend how Girard's mimetic theory provides a valuable lens for analyzing the intricate dynamics of religion and societal order as it offers significant insights into the nexus of sacred beliefs, violence, and cultural narratives in contemporary contexts, underscoring the profound impact of religion on human behavior and social cohesion.
