Prof. Zdeněk Měřínský Award
Prof. Zdeněk Měřínský (1948-2016) was one of the outstanding figures not only in Moravian archaeology and history, but also in all aspects of the Institute of Archaeology and Museology of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. His numerous publications, which include several hundred titles, including monographs and reviews, are one of the characteristics of the professor. This extensive publishing activity can also be an inspiration for budding researchers, and the editorial board of the periodical Studia archaeologica Brunensia decided to support their initiative in the form of a competition.
