The site of the fortified settlement in Nezvěstice (Plzeň-město district) was investigated in 2006–2008. After removal of self-seeding trees and modern-age backfills, the original level of the settlement ditch was defined, as well as a strong wall of quarry-stone and mortar running along the south and south-west perimeters of the site. The inner area of the site was not researched. The decline of the fortified settlement is dated, by sherds of pottery and renaissance tiles, to the mid-15th century.
