Peer review

Prior to the review process, every manuscript is read by the editorial board who decide if the content of the text complies with the scholarly focus of the journal, and if it meets the formal requirements (length, style, citing, academic literature, abstract etc.). In case the requirements are not met, the manuscript is returned to the author.

In the review process, all studies are subject to double-blind reading and anonymous assessments by two impartial experts.

The peer-review process may take between 2 and 5 months, depending on the reviewers. In case of contradictory results of the review process, the editorial board chooses the third reviewer to write an assessment. The authors are informed about the results of the peer-review process as quickly as possible.

The text can only be published in its final form, i.e. once the author has made final adjustments based on potential comments by the opponents.
