The paper highlights a problem of relations between the dramatic and scenic time. Initially, a definition of both notions is offered to be followed by the discussion on potential relations occurring between these time patterns. Two aspects of connections between dramatic and scenic time are studied on the grounds of the examples from the 20th century Spanish dramatic works. These aspects include chronological order (anachrony - temporal distortion) and duration of both times (dramatic and scenic). The analysis concentrates on two works of Alfonso Sastre: El Cuervo and El asalto nocturno that show an interesting temporal structure.
