Vol.31,No.4(2021)

Abstract
This article focuses on the concept of дружба (friendship) in the Russian language. Russian linguists pay special attention to this concept, since friendship is considered the nuclear value of Russian culture. Animated films for children are one of the types of texts in which the theme of friendship is central. In connection with their educational function, the study of their verbal component replenishes knowledge about ethical concepts. The subjects of the semantic analysis are the expressions with the word друг (friend) and its cognates, obtained from Russian animated films of 20th and 21st centuries. There are implicated semantic traits of the concept of дружба and their shifts.
