The author of the article deals with the attitude taken by the Czech Society for Handwritten Manuscripts in reference to Josef Dobrovský, founder of Slavic Studies. He recalls the Society's activities in the field of print scientific and popular literature, and refers to its website. The article is informative and not only highlights the relationship with the Czech national heritage and history, but also new ways to (re) tell Czech history (with the assistance of influential websites).
