Vol.3,No.1(2011)
Methodological Issues in Library and Information Studies and Current Research in the Field

Abstract

Following article summarize the results of the questionnaire survey, which represents the first phase of the complex research described in the dissertation thesis with the title Information behavior of informatics. The article describes key aspects of the known and published research of information behavior. The author pays attention to the terminology base of the examined phenomenon and to the characteristics of the research method – questionnaire. The study contains also the interpretation of the obtained results from the different points of view.
