The autumn number of Slavica litteraria 2/2016 which is now being prepared will be devoted to methodological problems  of Slavonic studies and the delimitation of the subject of  the research in Slavonic studies, the perspectives of of area studies and the evaluation and returns to the history of Slavonic philology (problems of Czech structuralism) continuing the international colloquium Slavonic Studies in Contemporary World (8 September 2015) organised by the Institute of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University (Brno) in cooperation with the Czech Association of Slavists attended by more than twenty slavists from eight countries.
