New issue: Slavica litteraria 2019, No. 1

The first number of 2019 contains the studies different from both the thematic and the methodological points of view. Besides the new genres linked with new technologies there are also traditional analyses of literary creations, a scholarly comparison of the biograhies of two world philologists, an area conception of the culture from the borderland and the analysis of the literature of a nation, minority literature reflection of national conflicts as well as the transcendence of literature towards theatre and cinema and the personal contribution to the distant language dispute. The next two sections contain a treatise on the penetration of an Old Testament tradition into a modern Ruzsian prose work, a contribution to the jubilee of a Brno slavist, the section of reviews and reports critically informs about the key-events of the Slavonic literary studies.
