Between erotic and venerability (in poetry of Kasper Twardowski and Hieronim Morsztyn)

Abstract
The study deals with the similarities in the poetry of two leading representatives of so-called second generation of the Polish baroąue authors, Hieronim Morsztyn and Kasper Twardowski. The author analyzes the marked upturn in Morsztyn's and Twardowski's poetry as the main convergence. Differences in the authors' conception of Love, conflict between spirituality and sensuality as well as their relationship to the Medieval and Renaissance erotic poetry are discussed.
