Political and social changes at the turn of two centuries offer in publishing practice numerous titles that by means of personal experience or even personal circumstances, in the form of records, notes, documents, letters and other genres on the border between professional and artistic literature, say about the changes that through the consequences and implications affected the Continent and the world. The authors' personal histories are permanently connected with the Soviet Russia, the USSR and Russia of the 20th century. Book publications bring in records information about two stages of the life of the country and the Russian people which significantly influenced geopolitics of the Continent and the work of historiographers.
