Associations for the Study of Religions:

Czech Association for the Study of Religions

The Czech Association for the Study of Religions (CASR) is an association of scholars specialized in the academic study of religions. The aim of the association is to promote the discipline by organizing conferences, lectures, and by publishing the journal Religio: Revue pro religionistiku.

International Association for the History of Religions

The IAHR promotes the academic study of religion assisting the international collaboration of all scholars, member and affiliate societies contributing to the historical, social, and comparative study of religion.

The European Association for the Study of Religions

The EASR promotes the academic study of religions through the international collaboration of scholars in Europe whose research has a bearing on the subject. The objective of the EASR is pursued by the usual means of scholarly activity such as the arrangement of conferences, symposia or colloquia.

International Association for the Cognitive Science of Religion

The IACESR is an interdisciplinary group of scholars interested in the scientific study of religion. The objective of the IACESR is to promote the cognitive and evolutionary sciences of religion through international collaboration of all scholars whose research has a bearing on the subject.
