Inventory to Determine Teacher Job Satisfaction
Vol.29,No.1(2024)
Online first 2024
The article presents an original method for measuring teacher job satisfaction. The method consists of 11 items rated on a five-point response scale and measures two dimensions of job satisfaction: satisfaction with the teaching profession itself and satisfaction with the current workplace (school). The tool was validated in a sample of 3,136 teachers and showed acceptable psychometric properties. We present a free online application that enables the estimation of factor scores based on the final model.
