Abstrakt
On 14th June 2023, German industrial metal band Rammstein played their third concert in Slovakia, taking place at the Trenčín airport. This article aims to analyze the reactions that the concert provoked in the Slovak Christian sphere and examine the response among opponents and supporters of the concert. I will also try to briefly clarify in which Christian communities the issue was raised and discussed. Finally, I will attempt to compare the case of the Rammstein initiative with similar initiatives against metal concerts in Slovakia from the past, examined already by Rapčanová (2017) and Vrzal (2022).
